HOT GOSSIP THIS WEEK
* A 'leak' of the Official Top 15 has kind of surfaced. Believe us, this is as false a claim that one can ever find. Those who fabricate this sort of lie tend to add credibility to their claims by mentioning names of people, again false names. Be rest assured this is not true
* Miss Universe 2005 started its Miss Photogenic Poll earlier this week, but had to start it all over again! Apparently a Bulgarian hacker forged half a million votes in favor of the Bulgarian contestant.
* Music from the Miss USA, Miss Universe and Miss Teen USA Pageants 2004 were used for the preliminary competition at this years Miss Universe.
* The Miss Universe Dress rehearsal (for May 30) includes a mock list. This list is used for contestants to be called in the Top 15/10/5 categories. Last year, all 5 eventual finalists were used in The Mock 15. Will the same happen this year?
* Miss South Africa was chosen as the 'Hottest At Universe' for the Miss Universe Prediction Poll, where voters in the contest were the general public. In the same week, Miss Venezuela was chosen as Global Beauties Miss Cyber Press Award. Both contestants are strongly favored to win
* Telearuba has announced that it receives the most viewers via the internet during the Miss Universe competition. This year, the pageant will once again be shown live on the internet website.
